Questions about the AI integration

Which AI systems can I connect to Autaxo?

You can connect Autaxo to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Microsoft Copilot connects through Copilot Studio. You need suitable access from your AI provider and an enabled MCP connection. Organisations may also require administrator approval.

Can my AI create a monthly report with charts?

Yes. Autaxo provides monthly sales, net revenue, purchase costs, recorded vehicle costs and gross profit, plus a comparison with the previous month. Your AI can turn these into a report, tables and charts. Claude supports this kind of analysis and visualisation. Available formats and charts depend on your AI system and its enabled features.

Which margins and vehicle KPIs can I analyse?

You can query days in stock, vehicle status, purchase prices, selling prices and recorded additional costs. Your AI can break down vehicle margins and show where capital is tied up. Inventory value is the net purchase value. Monthly gross profit deducts vehicle purchases and recorded vehicle costs from net revenue. General overheads are not included. A vehicle’s tax treatment and complete cost records also matter when calculating its margin.

Can I send my AI a registration document and have it create the vehicle?

Yes. Upload a clear photo or PDF of the registration document to your connected AI and ask it to create the vehicle in Autaxo. The AI reads the available details, such as VIN, make and first registration, and transfers them to Autaxo through the integration. You can add missing or unreadable details. Your AI must support image or document processing, and you need permission to create vehicles in Autaxo. Check the captured details against the original.

Can I monitor, publish and unpublish listings through my AI?

Yes. You can query listing status stored in Autaxo, publish vehicles on the Autaxo Marketplace and unpublish them again. MCP also lets you take listings offline on mobile.de and AutoScout24 when you specify the platform. Publishing on those two marketplaces currently takes place in the Autaxo app. The relevant connection and your user permissions are required. Status queries return the data available in Autaxo and do not start continuous monitoring.

Can I connect my own AI system?

Additional AI systems must be supported by Autaxo. MCP and OAuth support alone does not guarantee compatibility. Contact us about the system you want to use so we can check the integration.

Can I use every Autaxo function this way?

The integration supports the areas described on this page. The individual actions available depend on the functions provided and your user permissions. Some steps still take place in Autaxo, such as changing a task’s status.

Is the AI integration included in my Autaxo plan?

The MCP integration is included in Autaxo One, Pro and Business. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot may have their own plans and charges. Support for external connections, file processing and charts depends on the provider.

What permissions does the connected AI have?

The integration works in your selected dealership with your existing Autaxo user permissions. It does not extend those permissions. Whether data can be read or changed depends on your permissions and the specific function available.

Does my external AI provider receive data from Autaxo?

Yes. When you connect an external AI system, the data needed for its queries and actions is sent to that system. Its subsequent processing is governed by your AI provider’s terms and settings.

Can I disconnect an integration?

Yes. In Connections in your Autaxo account, you can view your existing integrations and revoke their access.

How is this different from Carlo?

Carlo is built into Autaxo and helps you within the application. The external AI integration lets you work with Autaxo from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or Microsoft Copilot. You can use both.
