Are electronic signatures legally valid?
Yes. Autaxo uses advanced electronic signatures in accordance with the eIDAS Regulation. Every signature is documented with an audit trail, including a timestamp and IP address, to provide strong evidence in court.
Do I need a special tablet?
No. The eSignature works on any touchscreen device, including iPad, Android tablets, and smartphones, or even with a mouse on a PC. You can also send the link to your customer by text message or email.
Are the contract templates up to date?
Yes. We provide reviewed templates that are regularly updated to reflect current case law, including warranty law. You can also customize the templates.
Can I use my own contract templates and placeholders?
Yes. You can customize your contracts. The premium feature includes a complete contract template builder that lets you place custom fields such as make, model, or your own text blocks anywhere in the document. When you create a contract, Autaxo automatically retrieves the appropriate values from the database.
What happens to the vehicle handover report?
The report is created digitally, including photos of any defects, and linked directly to the purchase contract. Both are stored in the archive as tamper-resistant PDF files.
