Status: Autaxo v9.0.0 has been released. Feature availability depends on the selected plan and configured integrations.
The Highlights
The Photo Studio Is Now Its Own App
The photo studio now runs as its own app at studio.autaxo.de, with the same Autaxo account as your Garage. Via the Autaxo logo in the top left, you switch between Garage, Studio, and Marketplace with one click. If a vehicle is open, the other app opens exactly that vehicle.
This gives the studio the whole screen for your vehicles: it sits on a softly blurred backdrop of your room, and your vehicles appear as tiles showing their photo status. The former showroom page in Garage has moved into the photo studio. On every vehicle’s Photos tab, “Open in photo studio” takes you straight there, and “Apply showroom” shows you all suitable photos, the cost, and your balance before you start. Access is available to every user with the photo studio permission (Marketing group and administrators).
A Room That Matches Your Dealership, in 360°
A finished room is already waiting for you on first launch. In four short steps you choose your room, optionally describe your own from a floor plan and a few words of style, and put your logo on the wall. Then you can look around the room and get started.
Under “Your rooms” you manage all rooms: set the default room, rename, or delete without losing your finished scenes. While a room is being built, you see the current step and the remaining time right in the list.
Vehicles, Photos, and Scenes: All in the Studio
The vehicle list shows you which vehicles have no photos yet and which are done. Search and filters find any vehicle instantly, and “Add vehicle” creates a new one, including by VIN. If you have no vehicle yet, simply drop photos onto the empty area and Autaxo creates the vehicle from them.
On the vehicle page you upload the photos, choose which ones go into the room, and see what it costs in credits and how many you have left before you start. If needed, you top up right there. While a scene is being created, Autaxo shows you the progress steps and the estimated remaining time, and a running job can be opened anywhere in the studio with one click. For each photo you compare the original and the scene and decide which version to use.
Upload photos just as they come off your phone: the photo studio and Garage now also accept files in HEIC, HEIF, AVIF, and WebP format, so iPhone photos go straight in. When downloading, you get every photo as a JPG in the highest quality, ready for manual upload to mobile.de and AutoScout24, and all photos of a vehicle at once as a ZIP file.
Photo Changes Land on Your Listings Automatically
When you change, add, or reorder a vehicle’s photos, Autaxo sends the change itself to every listing on mobile.de and AutoScout24 where the vehicle is live. Photos you pull from mobile.de are taken over in full resolution. If a platform rejects a change, you find the affected vehicles in your inventory via the new “Listing rejected” filter.
Carlo Reads Customers and Vehicles from Your Receipts: A Big Leap
Carlo now recognizes customers and vehicles in your receipts far more reliably than before, a big leap for your receipt import. When you upload a receipt, Carlo recognizes the customer including the IBAN and assigns it to an existing customer if one matches. Otherwise it proposes a new one, and the dialog tells you when no existing customer matches. Carlo also checks the vehicle lines against your inventory, and you decide for each line yourself. A new customer is never created without your decision, and an IBAN belongs to exactly one customer per dealership.
Your Own Number Ranges and Customer Numbers
Under Settings → Number ranges you define which number vehicles and customers start with, for example when moving from another system. In addition, every customer can carry your own customer number, just as vehicles carry your stock number: it then appears instead of the Autaxo number in the customer list and on your documents.
More Improvements
- Tabs in your order: Drag the tabs on vehicle, customer, settings, billing, and task pages into the order that fits your working day. It is saved per user and applies in all your dealerships.
- Days in stock from the delivery date: Days in stock now count from the delivery date of the latest invoice, and the “Purchase date” and “Sale date” columns in the inventory show exactly these days. The former “Service date” field is now called “Delivery date”.
- Asking price at a glance: As long as a vehicle is not sold yet, the sales price card shows your asking price and the profit expected from it.
- Price sheet with price rating: The price sheet can print mobile.de’s price rating on request.
- Carlo suggests the listing title: On the “Listing” tab, Carlo drafts a listing title in dealer shorthand with “Suggest title”. You review it, adjust it, and save it yourself.
- Invoice details at a glance: An invoice’s side panel sorts the invoice types as tabs, gathers all checks in an expandable card, and shows the progress of the cost allocation.
- Edit your dealer website with your AI assistant: If you have connected Claude or ChatGPT to Autaxo through the AI integration, your assistant edits the draft of your dealer website. Nothing goes online before you publish it in Autaxo.
- Task board: Completed cards show how long they have been done and move to the archive automatically after 14 days.
- Permission for marketplace purchasing: With the new permission you decide who in your dealership may buy through the Autaxo marketplace (permission management from DMS Pro). The marketplace cards on the dashboard show the net price.
- Vehicle report with your logo: The vehicle report now carries your dealer logo.
- New credit packs: The credit packs have new prices, joined by an XL pack with 2,000 credits. You find all packs on the pricing page.
- Getting started for new dealerships: Anyone trying Autaxo for the first time only enters their dealership’s website, and Autaxo pre-fills the name, address, phone number, and logo from it. The demo becomes your real dealership in four steps, without re-entering your details.
